Welcome to the Sacramental Information Page for the Parish of Christ the Light. The Sacramental journey within the Parish setting is a special journey because it is the will of both the child, parent and family to undertake this journey together. Thank you for beginning or continuing this journey with us.

The Christ the Light Sacramental Program is an adapted program that utilises both in-person family information sessions and self-paced online learning modules. This program was designed with a growing awareness of the life of families throughout the year.

We ask that during the time you are part of the Sacramental Journey, you are fully committed to the requirements of the program and ensure that both child and parent know that an active participation is required.

Key requirements of the Christ the Light Sacramental Program include:

• Attendance and Participation during family information afternoons
• Participation in online learning
• Attendance to a set number of Weekend Masses leading up to the Sacrament
• Contribution of $100 per child, per Sacrament for the maintenance and delivery of this program.

All sessions that require your attendance will be hosted at the Nazareth Centre at St. Joseph’s Primary School (44 Mernda Village Drive, Mernda) from 4pm - unless otherwise specified.

*Please note: an online booking form/link to lock in the date of the Rite of each Sacrament will be given out at the introductory session to lock in a date and time for each celebration. We do not take reservations beforehand.
